Forest Point contains 225 Acres of forest with old roads and trails for hiking. All of this, plus the golf course, is a wildlife refuge and closed to hunting.
Our nine-hole golf course is well kept and has bent grass greens with blue grass fairways that are well spaced and cut through natural woodlands.
This par 36, 2840 yard course carries a 115 slope with a 34.1 rating which gives both the avid and amateur golfer a challenging and enjoyable round of golf.
The course is open to all at a reasonable fee, and golf clubs, riding carts and pull carts are available for rent.
There are many historical sites and parks in less than an hour's drive. Superior and Duluth are also worth a trip, with their wonderful harbor, waterfront and ship building.
Wintertime provides miles of snomobile trails which are accessible from our resort. Acres of nearby forest lands are available for cross country skiers. Ice fishing is a popular winter sport on Lower Eau Claire.
